Roman Lisbon: The producing (and consuming) city

The sixth volume of the collection Roman Lisbon. Felicitas Iulia Olisipo refers to the economy of the Roman city of Felicitas Iulia Olisipo.

A producing city is one whose economy is partly based on the exploitation of endogenous resources, marine resources, and their export. Thus, Felicitas Iulia Olisipo used to be a producing city and a consumer of its resources.
